Well, since you are one of several people who have expressed similar sentiments, consider that new feature in place!
We will refine it a bit so it is easier to navigate and you’ll see it in this Thursday’s edition, and every Thursday after that. Thanks!
Also a question: I cover about 200 ETFs and while there is power in variety and choice, I’m thinking the best 100 is a better amount for people to track, or even fewer. There is definitely some in that list I won’t likely use. I’d appreciate any guidance on what you think works for you and to the extent you can, speak for investors in general. We just want to make this the best thing going, but need feedback to finish getting it there.
Thanks! I assume you are referring to the idea of a weekly list of ETFs divided into chart types as I did here?
Our thought is to do this on 2 levels:
Free subscription: a small set of major markets
Add to our existing paid subscription: a more robust list and commentary. We do this already but the format would be more bottom line with a few highlights.
Any additional feedback appreciated. We are going to get right on this. Thanks and Happy New Year!
This proposed feature would be a welcome and useful adjunct to the Model ETF portfolios. Apologies for increasing your workload, and with reference to your comment below, you might consider a one or two sentence explanation for each ETF in the "best-looking charts" category as to what primary feature of the chart renders it "best-looking", e.g., is it the chart pattern (e.g., ascending channel) or the moving averages (e.g. golden cross), or a favorable momentum indicator reading (RSI, MACD, STO, etc.), etc. This bottom-line impression/judgment would be distinct from the numerical technical grades, but may overlap with what you have in mind for the forthcoming Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3 characterization. I suspect that a brief explanatory explanatory thesis for the "best-looking charts" would have both practical and instructional value for your subscribers. Happy New Year.
I especially like the "early but promising" list! I use my own ADX and Moving Average Crossover scans to try and find trend changes. If you add this feature, I'll upgrade to paid. Happy New Year and thank you for helping all of us self directed investors out...LOL
